GUADALAJARA FRAMED:
LEONARDO FINOTTI
From his unique perspective as a photographer-architect, Leonardo Finotti reinterprets Guadalajara's modern architecture in the photographs featured in this exhibition. These are photographic series of selected works that reveal the architect's criteria when establishing comparisons between architecture and the city, or between interior and exterior space. Finotti connects geometries, establishes contrasts, and establishes symmetries between the different buildings to reveal their essence. Starting with a rectangular image, he recomposes and rethinks the photograph, resulting in a new creation in a square format. The photographic project conveys a global vision while highlighting the uniqueness of the works it portrays. In this way, through his unique vision, he highlights the architectural principles of our modern heritage.
