Luis Enrique Flores Cervantes is co-founder and co-director of Estudio ALA since 2012. An architect from the University of Guadalajara and with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, he has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as at the Tonalá University Center of the University of Guadalajara. His academic work extends to various international institutions, where he has been a professor and guest critic at universities such as Harvard GSD (USA), Veritas University (Costa Rica), National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), and Cheng Kung University (Taiwan). Estudio ALA's work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2018 and 2021, in addition to being awarded at the XIII Ibero-American Biennial 2024. It has also been distinguished with the Outstanding Young Architect Award at the XVII Jalisco Architecture Prize 2023 and recognized with the Emerging Voices 2024, awarded by The Architectural League of New York.
