MAGUI PEREDO
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in 2003. She holds a Master's degree in Architectural Theory and History from the Barcelona School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). She is a member of the Guadalajara Chapter of the National Academy of Architecture. She is a founding partner of Estudio Macías Peredo. Her research work, titled "Herbert Bayer and Mathias Goeritz, "New Monumentality in Mexico," explores the relationship between art and monumental architecture. She has been presented in various forums. She has exhibited her work at the Palacio Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) College of Architecture in Chicago, Mantua, Venice, Italy, and the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco. She received the 2018 Cemex Award.
