Ximena earned her degree in Architecture from ITESO in 2018, participating in an exchange program with Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy. In 2016, she completed internships at the FEMSA Foundation Casa Estudio Luis Barragán, collaborating with curator Patrick Charpenel. She has studied a variety of courses and diplomas in different disciplines related to architecture at cultural institutions such as ESARQ and CCAU. From 2017 to 2021, she collaborated with the JAM · arquitectura studio, where she served as project director.
In 2021, he co-founded ForA, a non-profit cultural center focused on the critical analysis of architecture. Since 2024, he has worked at the Kurimanzutto gallery in Mexico City.
